Step 0: Download the Flux WiFi Pro app

  1. From your phone or tablet, go to App Store or Google Play Store
  2. Search for "Flux WiFi Pro" and install the app.


Step 1: Install your smart bulb

Make sure to power off the light you are replacing. Swap the current bulb with your Smart Bulb.


Note: Recessed light fixtures and metal lamp shades may degrade your Smart Bulb's performance.


Step 2: Power up your Smart bulb

Power on the light. Wait for the light to turn on.


Step 3: Create a Flux Cloud Account


  1. Open the Flux WiFi Pro app
  2. Tap on the gear icon on the top left corner, and select "Sign in or Create an account" option
  3. If this is the first time, you will have to create or register a new account. If you already have an account, then sign in using the account.


Step 4: Add a new light


Android Devices:

  1. Click on the + symbol at the top right corner and select "Add Light"
  2. You will see a list of all new WiFi lights that were discovered.
  3. Click on one of the listed lights and follow the instructions to select a Wi-Fi network to pair your light with
  4. Wait for the bulb to connect and restart. If the pairing was successful, you will be given an option to rename the light.


iOS Devices:

  1. Click on the + symbol at the top right corner and select "Connect Light to Wi-Fi Network"
  2. Go to your phone's settings and select Wi-Fi settings
  3. Connect to your Smart Bulb's Wi-Fi network. It will show up as LEDnetxxx or Fluxnetxxx.
  4. Open the Flux WiFi Pro app and follow the instructions to select a Wi-Fi network to pair your light with.
  5. Wait for the bulb to connect and restart. If the pairing was successful, you will be given an option to rename the light.


Once the pairing is successful, it will show up in the devices list in your app. Repeat step 3 for each Flux WiFi Smart Bulb you want to add.
